A little about who we are...We are a family-run, independent store located in Palace Avenue, Paignton, Devon. We've been family run now for the past 7+ years! We stock a great variety of items, including what we are known best for - our wide selection of stationery and our choice of art & craft supplies, which includes student and artist quality, to suit most needs!
Our store name 'Axworthys' dates back to 1868 where it first started as a commercial printers located on Winner Street in Paignton. Axworthys then survived a devastating fire whilst the store was later located on Torquay Road. Lastly Axworthys moved to Palace Avenue, where it still stands proud serving customers today, ran by our family: Christy, Paul, Gemma, Joshua & Bailey (our labrador!). We are very proud of our highly regarded customer service that we pride ourselves on. Whether you need help choosing the right art set for an art course you're starting or whether it's something as simple as choosing the right printer paper for your printer, we're happy to help! We also offer a highly popular variety of printing services, which you can find out more about via the tab above entitled "our services".
